Michele grew up in London, England. After retiring from the British National Gymnastics Team, she attended the Doreen Bird College of Performing Arts in Kent. She trained there under teachers from the Royal Ballet, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, and Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and went on to enjoy a successful career as a director, choreographer, actress and dancer in London’s prestigious West End theater district. Michele has been speaking and ministering in churches and conferences for more than 15 years. Her travels have taken her across America and to 18 nations throughout the world. She is passionate to see women everywhere move from strength to strength and glory to glory, arising to their maximum potential, living in fulfillment and making a significant difference in the world in which they live. Michele is also passionate for the unreached Jews and Gentiles of England and Europe to hear the good news of the Messiah in a culturally relevant way that they too might receive and walk in the grace and love of God. Michele is married to Geoffrey Cohen, Pastor of Jewish Ministries at Gateway Church. They spent the first two years of their marriage in Geoffrey’s homeland South Africa and emigrated to the US in 1991. Upon arrival in Texas, Michele devoted eight years of service to the children of Gateway working on staff as a Creative Coordinator. For the past four years, she has directed the Gateway Christmas Production. Michele and Geoffrey have since established their home base in Dallas, Texas, along with their three sons: Ezra, Samson and Joseph.
